Ian Butterworth (LLB (Hons))

Solicitor

Ian specialises in Family Law, and is one of 11 national members of the Solicitors Regulatory Authority's Work-Based Learning  Pilot Programme.

Ian was educated at Matravers School and Sixth Form, the University of Surrey, and the University of West of England.

Ian’s previous experience includes commercial property and residential conveyancing, divorce, ancillary relief, contact and residence disputes, non-molestation and occupation orders and he is currently working in the Aldridge Brownlee Family Department.

His strong belief in fair play motivates Ian’s passion for the law as a righter of wrongs. An energetic sportsman, (current holder of the Aldridge Brownlee Tennis Cup), he enjoys being one step ahead of and out-running the other side.
