People often don’t appreciate when they may be over the limit.  A positive breath specimen or drug test will result in at least a 12 month disqualification from driving which of course can have far reaching effects such as loss of employment. It is possible to ask a Court to consider a lesser period of disqualification and courses are run which also offer a reduction in the ban. A further penalty will also be imposed by the Court, which can range from a fine through to imprisonment. Legal representation can assist in presenting your case in the best possible light and guide you through the Court process.
